Hello everyone! So, as you can tell, it's been a while. I haven't written a blog post since the beginning of August....gosh, that hurts to type.

Well, luckily, I'm excited to say that I'm bringing the good ole blog back. This time, more consistently (fingers crossed). I've really missed writing about my life shenanigans here.

Just to recap: For the last 7 months, I lived in New York City. Wow, let me tell you: that city has stolen my heart. I cannot wait to share everything I learned about living in the big city, such as the the coffee scene, all of the food, the subway, and alllll of the Broadway shows.

I think the reason that I stepped away from the blog was that I needed to focus on NYC, including my classes at Marymount Manhattan and my work as a coordinator at Plural. I also just wanted to really enjoy the city, explore it as much as I can, and collect lots of stories and experiences that I can tell you about. Don't you worry, I will tell you the best places to get any type of food and coffee. (Fun fact: I'm now obsessed with bagels... like a lot.)

I'm really excited for 2018.

I feel like the majority of people have been talking how 2017 was really tough universally, so this fresh start feels really good. I've got some resolutions, but I'm trying not to beat myself up if I don't complete them. My main resolution is just to do what I love with people that I love in places that I love. That sounds really cheesy, but I don't want waste any time on this earth. My other resolutions include bringing this blog back, reading more, and focusing on self care.

So, I'm back at Elon University in North Carolina, currently take a January class and living in my new apartment. It's crazy switching back to a slower lifestyle in a small southern town, but I'm excited to continue my college career and catch up with friends I haven't talked to in about 7 months.

Please please please let me know what you want to see here. I'm going to definitely be writing some NYC-themed content, as well as some social media-related blog posts, but the rest is really up to you. If there is anything else you would like to see, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Thanks for sticking with me. I know I'm a hot mess and I appreciate all of you that read this blog.

Happy new year. Keep kicking ass.

Talk to you soon,
